In line with this vision, this strategic project, being undertaken in collaboration with Versa Farms to cultivate a 100hectare farmland of groundnuts is set to produces 75mt of groundnuts per quarter with a plan to increase to 100mt in 2024.
The supply shortages and seasonality have necessitated our backward integration activities to further create sustainable economic impact.The decision to embark on this farming project underscores Zenfix’sdedication to strengthening the groundnut value chain. By directly engaging in the cultivation of groundnuts, Zenfix aims to not only enhance its raw material sourcing but also contribute to the empowerment of local farmers and communities in Ilorin.
Partnering with Versa Farms, known for theirexpertise in farming high quality produce at industrial scale, Zenfix is combining her industry knowledge with Versa Farms’ agricultural proficiency to ensure the success of this project. This collaboration exemplifies the synergy between different sectors in driving sustainable development and economic growth.This tripartite project between Zenfix, Versa and Zedcrest, with Zedcrest financing the project and Zenfix providing guaranteed off-take of the produce will provideus more control of the supply chain while impactingthe farming communities.
